Celebrating 50 Years of Engineering Management

Photo showing the Engineering Management 50th Anniversary banner on the walls of Engineering Management Building

In 1967, the first university department in the world dedicated to the nascent field of “engineering management" was founded at the University of Missouri-Rolla. A half-century later, the Missouri University of Science and Technology is happy to commemorate 50 years of growth and success within our Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering.

To celebrate this historic achievement, a planning committee of Academy of Engineering Management members, other alumni and students have joined together to create what is sure to be a memorable anniversary celebration during the 2016 Homecoming weekend. Take a look at all the events.
