Design Engineering Center (DEC)
The Design Engineering Center is a component of the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at Missouri University of Science and Technology. The focus of this center is to encourage the exploration of a variety of quality related topics. The main goal of the center is to enhance industrial productivity and design robustness through fundamental engineering research in the key areas of mechanical, manufacturing, and management engineering.
The center supports interdisciplinary research including educational and industry projects. The industry projects include healthcare, government, service, and manufacturing. Students associated with the DEC include undergraduate research, graduate research, and instructional/service learning.
The DEC is located in the Engineering Management Building, Room 109.
